Our History

Grant Engineers is a trusted, multidisciplinary firm delivering innovative civil engineering, surveying, and architectural solutions across The Bahamas. Headquartered in Grand Bahama, our work is rooted in decades of experience, technical excellence, and a deep understanding of island development.

Founded by the late W. Carver Grant, a Civil Engineer and Registered Land Surveyor with over 46 years of experience, the firm was built on a legacy of precision, integrity, and service. Today, Grant Engineers continues to honor that foundation while evolving to meet the demands of modern infrastructure and design.

We provide consulting services across institutional, municipal, industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, with a strong focus on the Northern Bahamas. Our team brings a unique ability to navigate local conditions, regulations, and environmental factors—ensuring every project is both practical and sustainable.

Our core services include Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineering, as well as Land and Quantity Surveying. We also support clients with Project Management and construction advisory, guiding projects from concept to completion with clarity and confidence.

With over four decades of continuous service in Freeport—particularly within the Port Area—we’ve built lasting relationships with contractors, developers, utilities, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies. This network allows us to seamlessly translate ideas into well-executed, real-world solutions.

At Grant Engineers, we don’t just design structures—we help shape communities.
